Do mouth-nose masks have anything to do with sea rescue in the Mediterranean? The Alternative JugendKultur e.V. (AJK) and the Ausländerpfarramt think: Yes! An appeal for donations by the AJK was able to collect the materials needed to sew masks. Aktiv für Flüchtlinge (Active for Refugees) - the volunteer project of the parish office for foreigners - found Afghan and German women who sewed the mouth-nose masks at home for the benefit of sea rescue. On Friday, May 8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., these masks can be purchased at a stand at the Salinenbrunnen in the pedestrian zone for a donation (minimum suggested donation 5 euros).
