Lord Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer supports the proposal by Bad Kreuznach political scientist Markus Bach to establish an academy for communal conversion and peace policy in the town on the Nahe. Bach's idea that Bad Kreuznach should call itself a city of peace because of its history also meets with her approval. This would not only honor the important first Franco-German summit meeting on German soil after the Second World War in Bad Kreuznach in 1958, but also promote the city of bridge houses. It is important to her to discuss the topic of peace with all sections of the population and to draw economic benefits for the town from this.
