Not only did all the posters and banners for the vacation reading campaign feature little reading monsters, but the dedicated participants also transformed themselves into industrious, book-eating reading monsters during the summer vacations: Under the motto "Adventures begin in the mind", the 14th nationwide LESESOMMER took place at the Bad Kreuznach City Library from July 5 to September 5. The popular event aims to make reading fun and reach children and young people who otherwise read few or no books.
