For decades, Andre Beitner (1926-1996) was exemplary in his commitment to the
Bad Kreuznach's urban society and beyond. In 1999, a

Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer has recruited Hansjörg Rehbein from the Waldhilfe Bad Kreuznach association as the driving force behind an initiative that
a new shelter and barbecue hut on the large recreational area in the
urban forest (Kuhberg).
