The planned expansion of the urn wall at the Planiger cemetery was implemented on time by the city. At the end of July, nine new chambers were added to both sides of the existing, fully occupied facility. Mayor and head of the cemetery department Wolfgang Heinrich, head of the local council Dirk Gaul-Roßkopf and members of the local council as well as those responsible for the building yard and cemetery administration came to see the successful completion of the work on site. Pastors Georg Rheinbay (Catholic) and Scott Smith (Protestant) blessed the urn wall.
