It was a very emotional moment for Erika Roggendorf when she was bid farewell to her retirement by Lord Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer. Her career with the city administration began 47 years ago as an office assistant apprentice. As Managing Director of the Bad Kreuznach Adult Education Center, she has played a key role in shaping the public educational institution since October 1996. "This wealth of knowledge," says Grit Gigga, Head of Schools, Culture and Sport, was put to good use during the transition phase. Erika Roggendorf retired on June 1 and has been working as a consultant in recent weeks.
