On Friday morning, a modern work of art grew block by block in front of the Haus der Stadtgeschichte on Löwensteg: the building, which opened in March, is now adorned with "art on the building". The concrete sculpture was created by Frankfurt artist Levent Kunt, who accompanied the construction in the presence of many onlookers. The Kleemann concrete factory in Rodgau (Hesse) produced the artwork in four blocks weighing several tons, which have now been assembled with the help of a crane and metal rods. A lighting system in the floor will soon complete the sculpture, allowing it to take center stage even in the dark.
