The state of Rhineland-Palatinate, represented by the Struktur- und Genehmigungsdirektion (SGD) Süd, is starting work on the expansion of the Nahe dyke between Ippesheim and Planig. On Monday, the construction site inspection of the dyke upgrade took place with the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony with Environment Minister Ulrike Höfken, SGD Süd President Hannes Kopf and Lord Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer.
