Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the associated restrictions for families, the city council is once again setting up temporary play streets during the Whitsun vacations.
Similar to the summer and Easter vacations, Mathildenstraße and sections of Jungstraße and Rheinstraße will be closed to through traffic from Friday, May 21, to Friday, June 4, and open to children playing. Richard-Wagner-Straße near the Dr. Martin-Luther-King elementary school is also a good place to spend time outdoors, as the area is permanently calmed by bollards and largely car-free.
