Mannheimer Strasse is one of the major lifelines and the most important main axis of the city. Personalities, successful businessmen and artists have lived along it. All of this can be read in the book "Geschichtshäppchen um viertel vor sechs". The basis was provided by a series of lectures that made stops at 26 buildings and squares in Mannheimer Straße from Bocksbrunnen to Löwensteg. Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer and city archivist Franziska Blum-Gabelmann invited all the authors and photographers to the book presentation in the "Krone", the city's oldest inn.
