The summer vacations in 2020 are proving more difficult than usual for many parents, children and young people: planned vacation trips are canceled, city swimming pools are closed and vacation childcare facilities are offering fewer places. At the same time, many families do not have their own garden, and there is sometimes not enough space for everyone on the playgrounds with the required distancing rules. For this reason, the city council decided on June 25 to set up play streets in several parts of the city during the summer vacations. Specially designed signs at the entrances to the towns will also soon ask drivers to drive at 30 km/h for the children.
