Children can be a great enrichment, but sometimes they can also be a challenge. It's good if family or friends can provide support. But help is not always available. This is why there are the two volunteer projects "Wellcome" run by the Diakonisches Werk in the Evangelical Church District of Nahe and Glan and the "Family Sponsorships" run by the Caritasverband Rhein-Hunsrück-Nahe e.V. Both offers are financially supported by the city. However, it is even more important to find new volunteer helpers. Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer promoted the projects at a press conference.
