On May 8, Liberation Day, people with extreme right-wing, racist and anti-democratic views will once again gather at the "Field of Sorrow" memorial in Bretzenheim to commemorate the German victims of the Second World War. The local alliance "Kreuznach-für-Vielfalt" wants to set an example against discrimination and hate speech and is planning a Corona-compliant, peaceful counter-event under the motto: "I'm staying at home - #meinshirtistda". The city's Hermann Rohloff daycare center is also taking part in the demonstrative art action.
