On July 8 every year, hundreds of cities across Germany in the "Mayors for Peace" network set a visible sign in front of their town halls for a peaceful world without nuclear weapons. The town of Bad Kreuznach has also been a member of Mayors for Peace since 2019. Following last year's premiere, Lord Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer hoisted the green and white peace flag in front of the town hall today at 11 a.m. together with members of the local "Active for Peace Bad Kreuznach" network.
