On April 29, Anneliese Groth celebrated her 100th birthday at the St. Antoniushaus retirement home in Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg. In the afternoon, she toasted with a glass of grape juice in the garden of St. Antoniushaus with facility manager Volker Specht. Her two daughters Ina-Sibylle Karo and Dagmar Groth and their families had prepared a very special surprise for her. They stood at the fence of the garden with three trombone choir players from Bad Kreuznach and greeted them from the unfortunately necessary distance. They played five beautiful songs for the jubilarian. She sang along to the well-known hymn "Nun danket alle Gott" and was very touched by the birthday serenade.
