The city of Bad Kreuznach is investing a further 2.1 million euros in the modernization of its fire protection infrastructure. The East Fire Station is being built in Planig. A vehicle hall with four parking spaces as well as a workshop, storage rooms, social wing with WC, changing room, training room and kitchen, and technical rooms are being built there on a usable area of 570 square meters. In addition, 31 parking spaces will be created in the outdoor area, a washing area in front of the vehicle hall and outdoor training areas. The site is 12,151 square meters in size. The inauguration of Fire Station East is planned for spring 2023.
