On the Volunteer Day of the Bad Kreuznach Volunteer Fire Brigade, Lord Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer appointed twelve new firefighters, promoted and discharged them and presented several awards at the Bonnheimer Hof. Furthermore, a turntable ladder with cage, a 4000 tanker, a 20 rescue fire-fighting vehicle, an advance equipment vehicle and a utility vehicle were handed over to the platoon leader of the southern fire-fighting district Jeffrey Mitchell and his deputy Alexander Jodeleit.
