The first cyclists could hardly wait: as the "City Cycling" campaign began on June 25, 3672 kilometers had already been cycled two hours before the official start on June 26. At the kick-off at the mobile and information point at the train station, 121 cyclists set off on the tour through the city center, which was planned and led by Thomas Fischer (city administration), Hermann Holste and Andreas Geers (Rad-AG of the city).
