The city of Bad Kreuznach has been on friendly terms with Bourg-en-Bresse since 1963. After the last meeting in Bad Kreuznach in the fall of 2021, Lord Mayor Emanuel Letz traveled to the French twin town for his inaugural visit. He was accompanied by Christine Simmich, international relations, members of the board of the town twinning association and Marco van Bel, director of the Schlosspark and Römerhalle museums.
