Pictures made of stone are old acquaintances in Bad Kreuznach. Less prominent are the descendants of the Oceanus mosaic of the Renaissance and the Pietra Dura / Florentine mosaic and here previously unseen contemporary images made of precious stone. In its current special exhibition "Twin Peaks", the Schlosspark Museum presents two world-renowned artists based in the region, who bring this tradition to abstract modern art in completely different ways in their late work.
